1-Year Mortality Risk Index for CEA
Estimate probability of death within 1 year after carotid endarterectomy
The 1-Year mortality risk index for carotid endarterectomy was developed from a cohort of over 19,000 patients who underwent carotid endatrectomy and predicts the risk of death in one year. This risk model has been internally validated and externally validated in a cohort of 5,000 patients.
